New transportation director announced for Currituck County Schools

Currituck County Schools has announced that Charlie D. Hudson IV will join the district as transportation director at the end of May.

With more than 20 years as an educational professional, Hudson has served in multiple roles at the K-12 public school and post-secondary levels, including adjunct faculty, CTE (career and technical education) teacher and school administration. He has served as the director of transportation for Caswell County Schools in Yanceyville for the past four years.

Hudson earned his bachelor of arts and master of business administration from Averett University, followed by his educational leadership professional endorsement from Longwood University. He additionally holds licensure in multiple areas and National Board Certification.
