Pickleball tournament benefits Outer Banks SPCA

The PBOBX Pickleball Group completed another fun tournament on April 28, 2023, mixing the love of playing pickleball while supporting the efforts of the Outer Banks SPCA.
The tournament – dubbed the OBX Pickleball Team Derby – was held at the Pine Island Racquet & Fitness Center.
Proceeds from the event netted several bags of cat and dog food along with a check for $350 that were presented to Dagmara Gniecka, community outreach manager for the Outer Banks SPCA.
