The Outer Banks Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for Southern Bank in Manteo on May 17, 2023.

Jim Gilreath, chairman of the Chamber Board and attorney at Rose, Harrison, Gilreath & Powers, P.C., congratulated Neil Songer, senior vice president and area manager, and Jason Waughtel, executive vice president coastal region, on the new location for the bank in Manteo. “… we are a community bank focused on offering exceptional service and a personal, relationships-first approach to all our clients.”

The Outer Banks Chamber serves Dare and Currituck counties and Ocracoke Island.
