H. Darlene Scheafer Richards, 62, of Elizabeth City, died June 19, 2023 at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. She was born in Manassas, Va. on February 28, 1961.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on June 29 at Twiford Memorial Chapel with burial at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veteran’s Cemetery at 2 p.m. Visitation will be held June 28 from 5–7 p.m. at Twiford Memorial Chapel.
