The Hyde County Meals on Wheels program will return to five days a week of hot meal deliveries beginning in July, but is still in need of volunteers to make this happen.

Needed are:

One volunteer is for Thursdays in the Engelhard area.

One volunteer for Thursdays in the Swan Quarter area.

One volunteer for Mondays, one volunteer for Tuesdays and one volunteer for Thursdays in the Fairfield area.

“Please take a look at your calendars and see if you are available for any of these days/areas,” noted a Hyde County announcement. “It would mean the world to our county to keep this much-needed program but even more to the homebound clients you would serve.”

Those who are available to help are asked to contact 252-926-1956 as soon as possible.
