Kim grew up in the northwest suburbs of Chicago and attended Schaumburg, Hoffman Estates, and Barrington High Schools.

In 1993, Kim packed up all that was near and dear to her and embarked on the adventure to the Outer Banks of North Carolina with the love of her life Pete Endre whom she married in 1995. Having never been to the Outer Banks, it was a bit of a culture shock, as she would tell it, but a move she would never regret as she found a loving and warm community and her life passion.

Kim began her career on the Outer Banks with Cozy Kitchens and remained there until she became a realtor in 2004. Her passion and dedication to the community were evident to all who knew Kim, all who worked with her, and especially to the countless clients she helped in her 19 years as a realtor, working at Twiddy & Company for the last 4 years. Her accolades are numerous. Kim was a two-time chairperson for Relay for Life, served as President of the Outer Banks Association of Realtors, was named the OBAR Realtor of the Year, was accepted into the NC Realtors Leadership Academy, served a two-year term as the Region 1 NCR Regional Vice-President, won the NCR RPAC Colvin Cup Award several times, and most recently was selected to the prestigious National Association of Realtors Leadership Academy.

Kim was a generous, loving, kind spirit, all heart as her license plate read. All who knew her will miss that smile that could light up a room. She did everything out of love sprinkled with kindness. Kim would tell you the accolades were special, but more important to her was her role as the wife of Pete Endre and the mama to her fur babies, Kona, Jake, and Tosh. They would assure you there has never been a better fur baby mama.

Kim is survived by her husband, Pete Endre; her father, Henry Wiedemann, and stepmother, Sheila Wiedemann; brother-in-law, Earl Sullivan (Laura, deceased); and other extended family members.

Kim’s life will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, from noon until 2 p.m. at Jennette’s Pier in Nags Head, NC.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Outer Banks SPCA, Susan G. Komen, or the American Cancer Society Relay for Life.
