Albert C. Ellington III, 81, of Nags Head, died August 17, 2023 at home. Ace was born in Richmond, Va. on October 20, 1941. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

Memorial service will be held on August 31 at 11 a.m. at Roanoke Island Baptist Church in Manteo. Celebration of life will be held at a later date; final resting place will be at Marine Corps Base Quantico, Va. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project (woundedwarriorproject.org).
