Luther “Buddy” Dudley Burrus III, 68, of Hatteras, died August 17, 2023. He was born on May 16, 1955 in Buxton.

Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on September 23 at Hatteras United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, make donations to Hatteras Island Meals, HatterasIslandMeals.org or PO Box 854 Buxton, NC 27920.
