Mary Karolyn Whitfield Quidley, 81, of Kitty Hawk, died October 19, 2023, in Elizabeth City. She was born in Norfolk, Va. on November 6, 1941.

Graveside service will be held at Austin Cemetery in Kitty Hawk on October 28 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations be made to the giver’s choice of an animal support organization, the Kaye E. Whitfield Memorial Scholarship, P.O. Box 948, Buxton, NC, 27920, or the Wallace H. McCown Scholarship administered through the Outer Banks Community Foundation.
