The Elizabethan Gardens’ annual WinterLights event will run on select nights through Saturday, December 30, 2023 from 6-9 p.m. This season, the Gardens invited local nonprofits to decorate a tree that conveys their mission. Each tree has a QR code or information to support one of the 13 participating local charities: Lily’s Camp; Beach Food Pantry; Outer Banks Hotline; Community Care Clinic of Dare; Outer Banks SPCA; OBX Room in the Inn; Crossroads OBX; Outer Banks Relief Foundation; Coastal Humane Society; The Lost Colony; NC Aquarium Society; Children & Youth Partnership; and Roanoke Island Food Pantry.

Sponsored in part by Southern Bank and The Outer Banks Visitors Bureau, WinterLights has become an annual holiday tradition with all proceeds benefiting the Gardens. Guests are encouraged to visit the Gardens’ website at elizabethangardens.org for a listing of scheduled entertainment and evenings with Santa.
