Holy Redeemer by the Sea Catholic Church will present its 20^th annual outdoor “Living Nativity.” This time-honored presentation will take place on the front lawn of the church at 301 West Kitty Hawk Road in Kitty Hawk at 6 p.m. on Sunday, December 17, 2023.

More than 20 parish cast members, ages 13 to 89, will bring the nativity to life with narration and carols.  “This is a truly moving presentation where the Bethlehem story comes alive,” stated an announcement from the church. “All are invited to take a break from their hectic holiday preparations to see this beautiful story and rediscover the reason for the season!”

A section will be reserved in front for small children and those who are unable to stand for 20 minutes (bring a lawn chair). Immediately following the presentation, there will be hot beverages and cookies available in the parish hall, along with a “special guest” from the North Pole.
