“Pickleball is not just a game!” This was echoed by the caring group of pickleball players attending the OBX Holiday Luncheon held at the Kill Devil Hills Youth Center.

The luncheon held a dual purpose to share in the camaraderie of a holiday meal while also supporting the efforts of the Beach Food Pantry.

The event was hosted by the PBOBX Corp. and attendees were asked to bring a monetary donation or non-perishable food items for the pantry. A total of 250 pounds of food was donated in addition to $1,375 in financial donations. This amount was supplemented by a $500 donation from the proceeds of the PBOBX Corp.’s Holly Jolly Round Robin Tournament for a grand total of $1,875.
