Wanda Marie Tillett Tanner, 80, of Hertford, died December 29, 2023 at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center. She was born April 22, 1943, in Pasquotank County.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on January 10, 2024 at Twiford Memorial Chapel with burial at West Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the chapel lobby. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Jimmy “Catfish” Hunter ALS Foundation, P.O. Box 47, Hertford, NC 27944 or to Hertford Baptist Church, 124 Market Street, Hertford, NC 27944.
