In December, Manteo High School hosted its first AVID Showcase as a designated AVID National Demonstration School. Educators from across the state gathered to witness firsthand how AVID strategies are seamlessly integrated into MHS’s curriculum and culture.

The school’s administration, teachers and students took center stage, highlighting the positive impact the AVID program has had in their lives, careers and education.

“The showcase was a huge success and a testament to all of the hard work the MHS community has put into this program and their school,” noted Dare County Schools. “Visiting educators left inspired and excited to take what they learned back to their schools.”
