Currituck County NAACP to commemorate Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

The Currituck County NAACP branch will hold a Remembering Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. event on Sunday, January 14, 2024 at 2 p.m. at Pilgrim Journey AME Zion Church, located at 310 Tulls Creek Road in Moyock.

The guest speaker will be Rev. Dr. Donald Jones, pastor and presiding elder.

A caravan honoring Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. will be held Monday, January 15, 2024 at noon at the Currituck County YMCA parking lot. March to commemorate Dr. King. Line up at Currituck County High School at 11:30 a.m.; escort provided by Currituck County Sheriff’s Office.
