David P. Wescott, 83, of Manteo, died January 16, 2024 at home. A native of Dare County, he was born February 26, 1940.

Visitation was held January 20 and funeral service was held at 1 p.m. on January 21 at the funeral home. Private burial will take place in Manteo Cemetery. Donations be made to the Corolla Wild Horse Fund (corollawildhorses.com), 1130E Corolla Village Road, Corolla, NC 27927.
