Fulton Whidbee, 91, of Virginia Beach, Va., died January 15, 2024 in Raleigh. He was born October 16, 1932 and grew up in Salvo and Manteo. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on January 22 at Twiford Funeral Home in Manteo. Visitors will be received 30 minutes prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, plant a tree or donate to the Virginia State Beekeepers Association.
