Outer Banks Health Carol S. and Edward D. Cowell Jr. Cancer Center officially opened its doors recently with a celebratory ribbon cutting held by the Outer Banks Chamber of Commerce.

Outer Banks Health professionals and supporters were joined by Chamber of Commerce members and community members to mark the occasion.

The Outer Banks Health Carol S. and Edward D. Cowell Jr. Cowell Cancer Center, located across the highway from the hospital in Nags Head, offers cancer services within one building. This facility includes chemotherapy, radiation, advanced therapies nurse navigator services, symptom management, support groups and more.

The Outer Banks Chamber of Commerce serves Dare and Currituck counties and Ocracoke.
