Manteo High School swimmers competed in the 1A/2A State NCHSAA Championships.

Individual results were:

Meredith Gaskill – 14th in 100yd butterfly, 18th in 100yd backstroke

Finnegan Davis – 12th in 200yd freestyle, 5th in 500 yd freestyle

Cormac Davis – 11th in 500 yd freestyle, 19th in 100yd freestyle

Ben Hanusik – 20th in 500yd Freestyle

Relay results were:

18th in women’s 200 yd freestyle (Madison Flynn, Meredith Gaskill, Bella Alexander, Finnegan Davis)

11th in women’s 400yd freestyle (Franni Evans, Finnegan Davis, Meredith Gaskill, Madison Flynn)

19th in men’s 400yd freestyle (Toby Fleckenstein, Zeke Leary, Ben Hanusik, Cormac Davis)

24th in men’s 200yd freestyle (Toby Fleckenstein, Zeke Leary, Ben Hanusik, Cormac Davis)
