The mobile food bank will take place on Thursday, March 14, 2024 from 4–6 p.m. at the First Flight Elementary School parking lot in Kill Devil Hills. Cars can begin lining up no earlier than 4 p.m. Food distribution will begin at 4:30 p.m.

When driving up to the check in area, do not get out of the vehicle to register. A volunteer will approach and take necessary information. Volunteers will then load everything into the vehicle, so leave sufficient room for groceries to be loaded.

The mobile food program is available to area residents who struggle to make ends meet and are in need of emergency assistance. This may be senior citizens living on fixed incomes, disabled persons, any individual or family currently receiving food stamps and working families who are making tough choices between buying food and paying for other necessities.

Dare County residency is required.
