Cape Hatteras Elementary School students score big wins, have ‘a blast’ at Science Olympiad

Twenty-nine Cape Hatteras Elementary School third, fourth and fifth graders “had a BLAST” at the Science Olympiad tournament in Elizabeth City on March 2.
The CHES team earned 22 first place medals, 14 second place medals, first place overall Division A trophy, and the Conan Morgan Spirit Award for showing kindness and sportsmanship.
“Most of all, we had a great day of learning and fun!” noted CHES.
Thanks were expressed to coaches Ms. Kristin, Ms. Harsh, Ms. Beverly and Ms. Jenn and bus driver Ms. Robyn.
