Several events are planned for Easter weekend on Hatteras Island.

March 29-30: Arts and Crafts Show. 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days. Family Life Center across from Cape Hatteras Secondary School’s tennis courts. Free admission.

March 30: Blessing of the Animals. Fair Haven United Methodist Church, 24240 Sea Breeze Dr., Rodanthe. 2 p.m.

March 30: Easter Egg Hunt benefiting the Frisco-Buxton Pathway. Children at 3 p.m. Adults at 7 p.m. Barbecue, sides, drink $5.

March 30: Frisco Mini-Golf and Go Karts. 3,000 eggs. 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Age groups for children: 2-3, 4-5, 6-7, 8 -10, under 12.

March 31: Easter Sunrise Service at the old Cape Hatteras Lighthouse location. 6:30 a.m.

March 31: Easter Sunrise Service at the Avon Pier, sponsored by St. John United Methodist Church. 6:30 a.m.
