The eastern meadowlark (Sturnella magna) is a colorful Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge resident.
This bird has pretty songs and calls, and eats mostly insects and seeds.
Male of the species identified by the black bib or V on the neck of the meadowlark’s bright yellow underbody.
