Ace anglers enjoy field trip fishing

More than 60 students, teachers and parents from Westmoore Elementary School (K-8) enjoyed three fun programs while on a field trip to Jennette’s Pier in Nags Head on Tuesday, April 2.
Pictured are “ace anglers” from left Hunter Moore, Brooklyn Rayfield and Kaylee Williamson from teacher Christopher Pierce’s 7th grade class.
In addition to pier fishing, they dissected squid and made then raced solar boats.
Rayfield said she liked to fish and eat French fries.
