Christina Rabbitt named Outer Banks Health Team Member of the Month

Christina Rabbitt, staff nurse IV in the radiology department, was named the Outer Banks Health Team Member of the Month for April 2024.
Rabbitt joined the Outer Banks Health team in June 2021. The announcement of her award noted that she “represents the highest level of teamwork across the organization and is always willing to step in and do what she can to help.”
It was also stated that Rabbitt’s patients and team members know her to be a caring and compassionate nurse, and she is well-known for her impressive ability to perform a difficult lab draw or IV placement. She sets high professional goals for herself and recently became certified in vascular access. She is always on the lookout for ways to improve patient safety, stated the announcement.
Rabbitt is “always helpful and professional. She comes as soon as we need help,” a team member shared. “She is responsive and so nice to work with. She’s awesome!”
