The Frisco Native American Museum recently received a donation of a remarkable collection of arrowheads and stone tools.

David and Barbara Howell gifted the set that his father, John Collins Howell, started collecting in the early 1960s. David joined his father in collecting in the late 1970s and they added to their finds for 30 years, looking throughout the counties of Wilson, Nash and Edgecombe.

The Howells wanted to preserve and share these wonderful items with the public. David added that “I sincerely hope others will enjoy viewing these national treasures much as I have.”
