Cariloha was purchased by Jodi Molloy and David Smith, formerly from Richmond, Va. They purchased a home in Colington Harbor about a year ago and started looking for a business to buy. Molloy and Smith were previously employed in the credit card and banking industry. “They are very excited to be taking over the business and look forward to becoming a part of this vibrant community. They are also glad to be one of the unique apparel and bedding retailers in the prestigious Scarborough Lanes Shoppes in Duck, NC,” stated the announcement from Tomlinson. “Cariloha will be open Tuesday – Saturday and Dave & Jodi can’t wait to meet everyone. I encourage everyone to go by and see the store. Oh, and they will also give you a 10% discount on any regularly priced item if you mention this article.”

Rose, Harrison, Gilreath & Powers advised and assisted the buyers and sellers with their acquisition.
