Donations sought to help maintain East Lake Cemetery yard

With mowing season upon us, family and friends of those buried in the East Lake Cemetery are being reminded that the cemetery yard is maintained strictly on donations.
“We are asking that you find it in your heart to donate to this worthy cause to help keep this cemetery looking as good as it deserves,” stated an announcement from those organizing the effort. “Thank you so much in advance for your generosity.”
It was noted that Minnie Spruill has retired, so donation checks should be made payable to East Lake Cemetery Fund and mailed to 104 Fort Hugar Court, Manteo, NC 27954.
