Update on Columbia’s Town Clock Project

Published 6:18 am Saturday, December 7, 2019

The Tyrrellinean Club is continuing the Town Clock Project fundraising efforts. Their goal is to raise enough funds to purchase and install a town clock on the Town Commons in Downtown Columbia. Part of those efforts include selling engraved bricks and pavers to be used to build a pedestal for the clock and enhance the walkway around it. Bricks may be ordered online at www.bricksrus.com/donorsite/townclock.

The club will hold a Rock Around the Clock New Year’s Eve dance as an additional fundraiser for the project. For more information, visit their Facebook event page at https://www.facebook.com/events/351723402405627/?ti=icl.

“We have a long way to go to reach our goal,” said a press release from the club. “We appreciate the support our wonderful community always provides Tyrrellinean Club fundraisers!”
