The Coastal Habitat Protection Plan Steering Committee will meet at 9 a.m. on May 11 by webinar.

The public may listen to the meeting online or over the phone. A link to the webinar as well as information on system requirements and testing can be found at ncdenr.org.

Committee members are scheduled to review draft sections of the 2021 Coastal Habitat Protection Plan, receive an update on an issue paper concerning Submerged Aquatic Vegetation Protection through Improved Water Quality and hear presentations on the N.C. Marine Debris Action Plan and on new ways to solve resource challenges of today’s restoration projects.
