Currituck County offices opening late Tuesday

Due to the forecast of hazardous weather caused by Tropical Storm Isaias, Currituck County offices will open at noon on Tuesday, August 4.

County offices are open to the public by appointment only during the COVID-19 pandemic, so those needing to meet with staff are advised to call first.

County staff and emergency personnel will begin conducting damage assessments throughout the community on Tuesday, as soon as the weather conditions are safe, reported a Monday afternoon announcement.
