Simple and delicious cooking for one or two

One and two person households are the fastest growing segment of the population, so you are not alone in planning and preparing meals for one or two. Learn about not only the challenges when cooking for one or two people, but also the benefits as well at classes held at Dare County and Tyrrell County Cooperative Extension.

Attendees will get ideas to prepare healthy meals that taste great, are quick to fix and do not produce too many leftovers.  Sample some great recipes you’ll want to make again and again.  For more information or to register, contact Dee Furlough at dee_furlough@ncsu.edu.

The class at Dare County Cooperative Extension is set for Thursday, February 28 from 10 a.m. until 12 noon. The cost is $5 per person. Register by February 25. Call 252-473-4290 with questions.
