Mitchell Ryan Rodrigues

Nags Head – Mitchell Ryan Rodrigues, age 24, passed away unexpectedly on September 27th, 2018 at his home.  Born October 11, 1993 in New Bedford, Mass. he and his family relocated to the Outer Banks, N.C. where he grew up.

Mitchell loved his family, friends and the beach and loved attending music festivals. Mitchell possessed graciousness as well as toughness and determination. He always made the hardest task look like a breeze. Mitchell battled and conquered Leukemia as a teenager and never lost his vibrant, dimpled smile through it all.

Mitchell leaves behind his mother, Shannon, his father, Paul, his sister, Alyssa, and his brother, Jordan as well as scores of other heartbroken relatives and friends.

A Catholic Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 6 at Holy Redeemer by the Sea Church, with Deacon Wil Hollowell presiding. In lieu of flowers, the family gratefully suggests donations in Mitchell’s memory be forwarded to the Cancer Center of Children’s Hospital of the Kings Daughters in Norfolk, Va.
