Johnnie E. Morris

Johnnie E. Morris, 71, died on September 24, 2018. Celebration of life was held on Friday, September 28, at 11 a.m., at Whiteville Grove AME Zion Church with Pastor William L. Bonner, Eulogist.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 27, at Stallings Funeral Home from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Family will be receiving family and friends at 4 p.m.

Johnnie was the son of the late George and Annie Morris. He was a member of Whiteville Grove AME Zion church. He worked at IXL furniture company for 28 years. Johnnie was married to his wife, Mary Morris, for 32 years. He has three daughters: Leslie Cole (Ralph) Regina Seymore(Rudolph) Jonquetta Felton (Quontal). He has four sisters: Mildred Liverman, Margaret Sutton (Ronald), Catherine Hines(Ronald). He is preceded in death by his sister, Mable Whidbee. He also leaves behind four grandchildren and one great-grandson, and a host of family and friends.

Stallings Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
