What’s in a name? Help us decide

I’m excited to officially announce that The Coastland Times will soon launch a new lifestyle magazine chronicling life on the Outer Banks! This will be a quality publication with our community at its core and we will strive to make it something you, dear readers, will be proud of.

In planning for this new endeavor, all involved have thought very carefully about what to name it. What title will convey the roots of our beloved home? From beaches to farms, everything in between and the people who are the lifeblood of northeastern North Carolina – what is the perfect name? Is it possible to come up with one?

Then someone suggested the idea that we open the naming up to you – the members of our community. What better way to truly get the feel for what will be embraced than to put it out there for the public to decide? After all, our focus will be on this area and those living in it, so this just seems like a natural choice.

So please, send us your ideas! We want them, we welcome them. We need a name and we’d like you to help us out. Please email ideas and suggestions to magazine@thecoastlandtimes.com.
