Paul Darwin Ange

Paul Darwin Ange, 83, of Plymouth died Monday, October 1 at the Brian Center in Windsor.

Born August 14, 1935 in Washington County, he was the son of the late Andrew J. Ange and Lyda Browning Ange and was preceded in death by his son, Terry Wade Ange; brothers, Eugene Ange, A.J. Ange, Jr. and Don Ange.  Paul was a retired telephone switchman with Sprint, a U.S. Air Force and U.S. Coast Guard veteran and member of Plymouth Church of Christ and Poplar Chapel Church of Christ.

Survivors include wife Ruby Lee Ange of Plymouth, daughter Andrea Ange Layman and husband Orville of Plymouth; sons, Wesley Thomas Ange of Kill Devil Hills and Jeffrey Gregg Ange and wife Ginger of Charlottesville, Va., four grandchildren and one great grandchild.

A funeral service will be held Friday, October 5.
