Dare Sheriff’s blotter for October

The Dare County Sheriff has reported felony crimes recorded in unincorporated Dare County for Oct. 1 through Oct. 31.

On the blotter are three crimes on Hatteras Island, two each in Wanchese and Colington and one each in East Lake and Stumpy Point. A firearm was stolen in East Lake.

Oct. 1: Larceny. 200 block of Sandpiper Dr., Colington. Money stolen.

Oct. 2: Obtaining Property by False Pretenses. 100 block of Harbor Rd., Wanchese. Sold stolen property.

Oct. 10: Larceny. 100 block of Swan View Dr., Colington. Heavy equipment reported stolen.

Oct. 14: Larceny. 50000 block of Treasure Court, Frisco. Fishing tackle reported stolen.

Oct. 17: Breaking and Entering and Larceny. 46000 block of S. Tower Circle, Buxton. Money stolen.

Oct. 21: Larceny of Motor Vehicle. Mosely Lane, Wanchese. Vehicle stolen.

Oct. 29: Larceny. 11000 block of US 264 Hwy., Stumpy Point. Ring stolen.

Oct. 30: Breaking and Entering. 40000 block of NC 12 Hwy., Avon. Nothing stolen.

Oct. 31: Breaking and Entering and Larceny. 18000 block of US 64 Hwy., East Lake. Firearm stolen.
