William L. Wright Jr.

William L. Wright Jr., or “Bill-Buck” as he was best known, passed away at the family home in Nags Head February 8, 2019. Bill-Buck was born September 13, 1938 to the late William L. Wright and Louise Thomas Wright in Newport News, Va.

He is survived by his wife Grace of Nags Head; daughter Michelle Wright of Kitty Hawk; sons Duncan Wright and wife Whitney of Kitty Hawk and Richard Wright of Farmville, Va.: granddaughters Lindsey Wright of Medford, Ore. and Shannon Dorham of Hampton, Va.; grandsons Jesse Wilkerson of Kitty Hawk and Jason Dorham of Crystal Beach, Texas; a great grandson; and aunt Barbara Littlepage of Williamsburg, Va. and other family and friends.

Bill-Buck was proud of his service with the 82nd Airborne Special Forces, US Army. Per his request, there will be no memorial services.
