PLYMOUTH, NC ­- Betty Ryals Burden, 80, of Plymouth, died Sunday, February 25, 2018, at Roanoke Landing Health and Rehabilitation Center in Plymouth.

Born December 23, 1937 in Smithfield, North Carolina she was the daughter of the late Wilma Carlos Ryals and Elaine Evans Ryals.

She is survived by her sister, Barbara Ryals Thompson of Chesapeake, Virginia.
