Violet F. Spencer

April 6, 1928 – January 6, 2019

LOUISBURG – Violet Furlough Spencer, 90, of Louisburg, died Sunday morning.

Mrs. Spencer was the daughter of the late Isaac and Annie S. Furlough. She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” F. Spencer Jr. She was a member of Louisburg Baptist Church.

A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Louisburg Baptist Church. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the Tomlinson Room of Louisburg Baptist Church and other times at the home of Glenda and Wayne Parrish. Burial will follow in Maple Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Spencer is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Glenda S. and Wayne Parrish of Louisburg; grandchildren, Julie Loftin and husband, Spencer; Jacob Parrish and wife, Mary;  sister, Evelyn West of Plymouth; Brother, Leroy Furlough of Chesapeake, Va.; great-grandchildren, Ashton and Amber Leonard; Jackson and Emma Kate Parrish.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Louisburg Baptist Church, Choir Fund, P.O. Box 730, Louisburg, NC 27549.
