Terry Lynn Cummings Collins, 65, of Kill Devil Hills, died February 27, 2019, surrounded by family. The daughter of Art and Marion Cummings, Terry grew up in Corfu, NY.

In 1988, Terry moved to the Outer Banks with her children. She worked at various businesses and was a waitress at many local restaurants, most recently as the manager of 7-11 in Kill Devil Hills.

Terry is survived by her parents; children Kristine (Chris “Woody”) Woodruff of Wilmington, Delaware, Heather (Nathan) Smith of Salem, Oregon and Karl (Ashley) Merritt of Grandy; grandchildren Hailey, Keven, Noah, Keagan, Ryan, Emerie and Brenden; sisters Barb (Jay) Terkel, Carol (Bill) Waldon and Lori (Paul) Embt; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 2 at Outer Banks Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends and relatives prior to the service beginning at 9:30 am.
