Betty Lou Lester Walton, 80, of Kill Devil Hills, died March 1, 2019. Born in Norfolk, Va. on May 22, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Molly Virginia Midgett and Lundy Earl Lester.

Betty is survived by her husband, Talmage M. Walton Sr.; sons Talmage M. Walton Jr. of Kill Devil Hills and Earl R. Walton of Virginia Beach, Va.; grandchildren David M. Walton of Portsmouth, Va. and Andrea L. Walton of New Bern and four great-grandchildren.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no service at this time.
