The 56th Annual Resource Conservation Workshop will be held June 23-28 at NC State University. The Dare Soil and Water Conservation District is seeking applications from rising sophomores, juniors and seniors (graduates are not eligible) to apply for a free opportunity to attend the North Carolina Division of Soil and Water Conservation Resource Conservation Workshop.

Students are selected by districts from across North Carolina and participate in a six-day camp that includes studies in soil science; water, wildlife, recreation and fish management; forestry and forestry management; and soil and water conservation.

Students receive information and insight into careers in natural resource management. The camp culminates in a celebration of knowledge exam. Students have the opportunity to receive scholarships during the week.
