Currituck County July 4 events and closings

Currituck County’s 27th Annual Independence Day Celebration will be held on Thursday, July 4 in Historic Corolla Park.

The 4th of July event is sponsored by the Currituck County Travel & Tourism Department and features food vendors, a cornhole tournament, watermelon eating contest, children’s games, live music and a spectacular fireworks show.

Admission and parking are free.
