Community grants available Currituck, Dare and coastal/environmental projects

The Currituck-Dare Community Foundation, Currituck-Dare Women’s Fund and Northeastern NC Coastal Research and Environmental Education Fund are currently accepting grant applications from area nonprofits that serve needs in the local community.

Grants will be awarded from the community grantmaking fund. Visit nccommunityfoundation.org for information about applying. The deadline for applications is noon July 30.

Funds from the CDCF are available for nonprofit organizations that serve general community needs in Currituck and Dare counties. Funds from CDWF are available for nonprofit organizations that support women and children in Currituck and Dare counties. Funds from the Northeastern NC Coastal Research and Environmental Education Fund are available to projects that focus on coastal scientific research and/or environmental education in the northeastern counties of North Carolina.
