The 13th annual GEM Candle Lighting is an annual event designed to honor, remember and care for friends and loved ones who are experiencing dementia or those who have passed. GEM also recognizes their care partners, professional caregivers and community friends.

The program is filled with beautiful music, poetry and prayer. Rev. Tom Wilson will officiate. The event will feature the music of the Outer Banks Chorus, Echoes of Heritage, Elaine Reed, Sue Waters and Angelo Sonnesso. An original poem by Bill Clark will be read by his wife Rose.

The program will be held Sunday, November 3 from 4-5:30 p.m. at St. Andrew’s By-the-Sea Episcopal Church, 4212 S. Virginia Dare Trail in Nags Head.
