The College of The Albemarle Foundation received a $1,500 gift from the Marine Corps League Outer Banks NC Detachment to establish the Marine Corps League Annual Good Citizen Scholarship.

Amy Alcocer, executive director of the COA Foundation, signed a memorandum of understanding for a new scholarship with Marine Corps League Commandant Daniel Hudson in December.
