Dare County Schools announced at approximately 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 7 that students will be released early due to weather concerns.

The statement from DCS reads: “Due to an unexpected change in wind patterns that is producing flooding on some roads, all Dare County Schools will release on an early release schedule today, Friday, February 7. Student drivers will be released from school immediately.”
