Children & Youth Partnership for Dare County’s annual Block Play Extravaganza set

Children & Youth Partnership for Dare County will hold their annual Block Play Extravaganza event on Friday, February 28 and Saturday, February 29 at Nags Head Church and on Thursday, March 26 at the Fessenden Center in Buxton.

Experience the fun of math and science learning through block play during this interactive building extravaganza for parents and children eight months to five years of age. Block Play Extravaganza provides parents and their young children a hands-on learning laboratory to interact and gain understanding of the math and science concepts learned through block play.

Early childhood educators from Children & Youth Partnership for Dare County will be available to demonstrate techniques that can help parents maximize their child’s learning. Sessions will be available in Nags Head on Friday, February 28 at 9-10 a.m. and 10:30-11:30 a.m.; and on Saturday, February 29 at 9-10 a.m. and 10:30-11:30 a.m. Sessions will be available at the Fessenden Center on Thursday, March 26 at 10-10:45 a.m., 11-11:45 a.m. and 1:15-2 p.m.
