The Outer Banks Family YMCA has been named as the Dare County Friends of Youth mentoring program’s Sponsor of the Month for January.

The YMCA recently sponsored a winter pool party activity for mentors and youths involved in the FOY program in honor of National Mentoring Month. At the event, FOY program coordinator Shannon Glaser, left, presented a certificate of appreciation to YMCA Youth & Family Coordinator Jenn Noell.
